With the NFL season approaching, you are going to see many referees determining the distance in a first down. This happens at every single game so that teams know how close they are to their goal.
When is the last time that you observed the distance between you and Jesus Christ?
Oftentimes we live our life never checking to see how close we are to Him.
You can know how close you are by how you behave.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. So in order to get closer to Him, you must be walking in truth. However, just like on an NFL field, sometimes it is hard to close the distance between where we are and where we want to be. But don’t be afraid to bring out the measuring stick to see where you fit in relation to Jesus Christ.
Until you expose the distance, you’ll never be able to close the distance.
