After Michael and Polina met Alyssa at a birthday party, they continued to have bible study after bible study, lasting approximately 6-9 hours. Each time, Michael revealed more and more to Polina and Alyssa about how God had worked in his life.
Shortly after these bible studies began, God asked Alyssa to go to New Orleans. They said their goodbyes and Alyssa left on her assignment. Everyone thought they would never see each other again, but God had other plans.
It was in New Orleans that God revealed to Alyssa that she was supposed to help Michael write his first book. Upon her return, the three of them met up and she told them the news.
The group fasted and prayed for three days to completely write the book within that time frame. God took the book in a completely different direction than was originally intended. With unexpected twists and turns, including God asking Michael to incorporate some of his poetry, this book now serves to crack open the hearts of all its readers and lead people back to the Creator.
