Before we traveled to Johannesburg, God told us to stay at a hotel called "The Ascot". A few days after arriving, a man came to clean the hotel rooms and saw Michaels’ Bible open. The man asked Michael if that was his Bible. When Michael confirmed that it was, the man said, “Will you teach me more about the scriptures?”
The man, whose name is Sam, came the next day for Bible study and said that he wants to go all-in for God. He quit his job at the Ascot, got baptized, and moved in with the group in Cape Town.
Since joining the group, Sam has participated in charity work at Flames of Hope Foundation, ministered in multiple prisons, and shared the gospel message to local churches.
