South Africa, Cape Town

During our time in South Africa, we were able to minister to roughly 733 new people in approximately four and a half months. What’s so amazing is that God led us to a foreign country not knowing anyone, and without a lot of money. So all the connections were made directly through God’s direction and guidance, along with his provision. We never lacked anything. 

Four people were healed, including Jerry’s tooth, Norma’s urinary issues, Ivan’s hip, and a man in a church healing room. 

Five people in total were baptized, including Mr. K, Sam, Lesley, Rhea, and Justin. 

God led us to minister in three prisons, including Voorberg prison, Allendale prison, and Pollsmoor. Pollsmoor is a maximum security facility known to be the most dangerous prison in South Africa. Michael delivered the Easter message, along with communion, at Pollsmoor. 

We preached and ministered at multiple townships, including Kliphewel and Khayelitsha. Over 100 children and young adults were ministered to. 

We hosted over 54 guests at our home in Cape Town to share the gospel message and what God has been doing in our lives and through this group. 

We prayed at a hospital trauma unit, prayed over multiple people in the intensive care unit, including gunshot wound victims and heart attack victims. 

We worked with a charity called the Flames of Hope Foundation to feed over 300 homeless locals.

God led us to speaking at three churches — Bethesda Gospel Church, Full Gospel Church of God, and Journey of Grace. We also spoke at women’s groups, a connect group, and three healing rooms. 

God connected us with many people including pastors, charity owners, and people who were interested in learning more about God through Bible studies. We did Bible studies everyday at the Guesthouse Hotel in Pretoria with all staff. 

God connected Michael  to speaking on Zoom to a group of women in Istanbul, Turkey, sharing his walk with God and sharing the gospel message. 

God led us to paying multiple people’s rent, providing groceries for multiple people, and going clothes shopping for several people, as well.
