Why Men Shouldn't Compete in Women’s Sports

For the last three years, I’ve been conditioning my body to be prepared for professional sports -- training three times a day, constantly comparing myself to the top athletes in the NFL, making sure my height, weight, and speed were sufficient enough to play with the best. I couldn’t imagine the competitive advantage I would have if I were preparing to play with women instead of men. It’s obvious that this isn’t fair and shouldn’t be allowed.

The interesting thing about coming to Christ is that we are enraged at the thought of a man becoming a woman based off of God’s creation, but we are not fazed at the thought of a lukewarm person claiming to be Christian based off of God’s standard.

"15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." - Revelation 3:15 KJV

Is it possible to maintain relationships with people who would make God vomit and actually maintain a relationship with God at the same time?

"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." - James 4:4 KJV

We have so much to say about someone changing their gender because of the way they feel, but we ourselves have been changing the standard of Christ based on how we feel. The sad reality is that a vast number of Christians can actually be compared to transgenders — living based off our emotions and feelings with no real substance for the direction of our lives.

"3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." - 2 Timothy 4:3-4 KJV

We have made alterations to the body of Christ to implement what is most convenient and comfortable for us. We are so outraged by the alterations done on someone’s body, but simply couldn’t care less about the changes we have made to the body of Christ.

"13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." - Matthew 7:13-14 KJV

Does our anger come from a hatred for sin? Or are we actually relieved that this particular sin doesn’t shine a spotlight on our lives?

"25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:" - Romans 1:25-26 KJV

A thought comes to mind — Do we actually care about what others are doing? Or do we use those opportunities to put a spotlight on a sin that is different than ours?

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." - 1 John 1:8 KJV

The reality is that the changes on someone’s body only affect them personally, but the change in standards we are placing on the body of Christ is killing His church.

"29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged." -1 Corinthians 11:29-31 KJV

In this verse, we see that people are getting sick and dying from not respecting the body of Christ and His sacrifices by taking communion haphazardly. So how would God feel about us trying to change the Body of Christ as a whole to fit our comforts?

"If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame." - Hebrews 6:6 AMPC

Question of the Day: Would God consider you trans based on the alterations you've made to the Body of His only Son?
